Jan Boyen 2 times WC at Paracycling

During the UCI Paraycling World Championships, which was held at Bordeaux in France, Jan Boyen (BEL) wins two gold medals.


Boyen was the first to put down a time during the qualifying races. But nobody of the other 18 competitors were able to beat that time. On monday Boyen manages to win the finals with exactly the same time with a 7 second lead on runner up Alcaide from Spain.


After his win on the track pursuit, he also won the timetrial on the road. He rode the course of 19.8K in a time of 27m23s41. 6 seconds faster than the Tjech Jezek and 19 to number 3, Alcaide.
