COLLABORATION WITH TEAMS AND ATHLETES IS PART OF OUR DNA

Presence in the peloton is not just a marketing choice. It
is part of the DNA of FFWD.

For many years, we have been working with cycling teams and athletes at the highest level. Not to simply display a logo, but to grow together. To develop products that perform when it truly matters — in racing conditions, under pressure, and in all circumstances.

Sponsorship as collaboration

To us, sponsorship is not a one-way street. It is a collaboration built on trust, feedback, and long-term relationships. Athletes and teams don’t just ride our wheels; they actively contribute. Their experiences play a vital role in the continuous development and refinement of our products.

These long-standing partnerships underline that philosophy. We have been working with Metec Cycling Team for 16 years, are entering our 10th season with Team Flanders–Baloise, and are now in our 6th year of collaboration with BEAT Cycling Club. Relationships built on mutual trust, shared ambitions, and a collective drive to keep improving.

This approach has brought us to where we are today: visible, reliable, and deeply rooted in the peloton. Worldwide.

Broad presence, consciously chosen

Our presence spans multiple disciplines. From road to gravel, from triathlon to international track racing. This diversity is a deliberate choice. Each discipline places different demands on equipment, and it is precisely this variation that challenges us to keep innovating.

New focus points in 2026

With product introductions over the past period, the focus in 2026 shifts further toward gravel and triathlon, without losing our strong foundation on the road.

NEW PARTNERSHIP

pro women

We're super proud to start a collaboration with the VolkerWessels Women Cycling Team. A high-level team competing on the international stage, and a conscious step toward strengthening our connection with the female cycling audience.

NEW PARTNERSHIP

gravel focus

In gravel racing, we also welcome a new face on the start line. With Nicole Frain we reinforce our position in a discipline where innovation, versatility, and pure racing mentality come together.

Fun fact; Nicole returns to FFWD after first riding with FFWD on gravel in 2024.

TRIATHLON FOCUS

international and versatile

In the triathlon category, we continue to build with a mix of trusted and new athletes. Men and women from different countries, competing in both Olympic-distance and long-distance events. This breadth perfectly aligns with the versatility of our collection of high-end carbon wheels.

Looking forward

This article marks the starting point of a series in which we will take a deeper look at our collaborations in 2026 and offer a behind-the-scenes perspective. In the coming blogs, we will highlight who we work with per discipline, what these partnerships look like, what they deliver, and why they are so important to our development.

Stay tuned, the peloton keeps moving.
