No nosso desenvolvimento para o DISC perfeito, passámos muito tempo a afinar os detalhes. O resultado foi uma roda de disco leve e impressionante de apenas 1040 gramas.
O design da jante em gancho mede 21 mm internamente e 28 mm externamente. Pode ser perfeitamente utilizada com todas as configurações de pneus, desde câmaras de ar até tubeless, com um pneu mínimo recomendado de 25 mm.

O FALCON foi concebido em torno de um método de produção completamente novo. Ele Utiliza um núcleo oco e paredes laterais de espuma PMI (polimetacrilimida) em fibra de carbono.
Esta estrutura é conhecida pela sua força e rigidez combinadas com leveza, conseguindo uma redução de peso significativa.

Ideaal Disc Wheel
Super tevreden over de FFWD Falcon Disc. Ik heb het wiel tubeless gereden tijdens Challenge Roth en het gevoel was echt super: snel, stabiel en betrouwbaar, ook op het heuvelachtige parcours. Voor mij een ideaal disc wheel voor elke triatleet die op zoek is naar snelheid zonder in te leveren op vertrouwen en comfort. Absolute aanrader!
15 minuten sneller op een Ironman en dat geluid is onbetaalbaar 🔥
Als triatleet op weg naar Kona-kwalificatie ben ik dit seizoen overgestapt op de FFWD Falcon disc + Ryot 77 en het verschil is meteen merkbaar. Tijdens een recente aerotest bleek de wielset een 19,4% lagere CdA te hebben ten opzichte van mijn Bontrager wielset. Dat vertaalt zich naar bijna 15 minuten tijdwinst over een volledige Ironman bikeleg. Maar los van de data: de wielen zien er gewoon heel vet uit. En dat geluid van de Falcon disc is echt bizar. Dat alleen al maakt fietsen een stuk leuker 😎. Zeer blij met deze set en ik zou hem zonder twijfel aanraden aan elke triatleet die serieus bezig is met zijn fietsprestaties. 🔥
RYOT 77 + FALCON DISC
Wheels look fantastic on the bike. Delivery was quick and although I had to pay Customs and Duty(UK VAT 20%) charges payable to UPS it was all sorted out later by FF using their extremely simple refund process. First TT with the new wheels just done and they felt fast and smooth on our fairly bumpy roads. Looking forward to the next one tomorrow night in what will be ideal conditions(warm and a light breeze). Paul.

This disc was a great addition to my Cervelo P-Series and it’s the first FFWD wheel I’ve owned. So far, I am very impressed. I’ve ridden a couple training rides to get a feel for riding with a disc, but the real test will be this weekend. Flat, fast course that I am hoping to get a PR on. First impressions: the wheel is super light yet sturdy, and the hub is fantastic. I went tubeless with it to better deal with thorns in AZ and WA, and my LBS had zero issues getting it dialed for my bike. The order processing and shipping was quick and secure (via UPS), the payment options met my needs, and the communication following my order confirmation were perfect! This entire interaction and quality of the wheel are making me consider FFWD for a new training wheelset, too.

Super snelle set met strakke uitstraling. Gecombineerd met 65cm normaal geslaakt voorwiel. Enorm tevreden, zowel service als kwaliteit!

Door ongelukje een nieuw wiel moeten kopen. Had een oudere FFWD disc en dan nu de nieuwe Falcon. De verbeteringen hebben niet stil gestaan bij FFWD! Merkbaar voor mij; minder zenuwachtig (zeker bij meer wind) op rechte stukken en de bochten. De looks is persoonlijk... maar ik vind het mooi. Van volledig glans, naar mat. Zijn geld zeker waard!
