Mozzi personalizzati con CeramicSpeed all'interno
I raggi in carbonio richiedono un design speciale del mozzo. Questo livello di ruote richiede cuscinetti in ceramica. Per i nostri mozzi personalizzati abbiamo collaborato con CeramicSpeed.
I cuscinetti CeramicSpeed elevano le prestazioni delle ruote in termini di peso, durata e minima resistenza al rotolamento. Come di consueto, questo mozzo FFWD è sempre dotato di un sistema di cricchetti interni che arricchisce il livello delle prestazioni.

Il RAW 55 è il fratello maggiore e ama attirare l'attenzione. Per quanto riguarda l'aspetto, supera il RAW 44 e il RAW 33 per gli scalatori e completa la famiglia.

heel tevreden over zowel de service als de wielen!
Snelle en zorgvuldige levering. De montage van de wielen verliep bovendien heel eenvoudig. Ik ben overgestapt van 40 mm naar 55 mm hoge wielen en ben zeer tevreden met die keuze. De FFWD RAW 55-wielen zien er bijzonder knap uit en geven ook tijdens het fietsen een heel goed gevoel. Ook het geluid op de weg is aangenaam. De vrijloop klinkt mooi, maar gelukkig iets minder luid dan die van de DT Swiss-wielen op mijn triatlonfiets. Door de hogere velgen zijn ze iets gevoeliger voor zijwind, maar dat is natuurlijk logisch bij een wiel van 55 mm.

Exceptional balance of speed, comfort, durability and value. Giving you the upmost confidence from a carbon wheel, whether you race up or down mountains, thrash across gravel or bike trek Asia, the Ryot 55 can do everything with speed and durability. Mine are 2 years old and have been on my road bike AND Gravel and ridden hard. I’m know for breaking wheels! I’m 85kgs and relentless riding. The 55 depth is aero and fine in the Dutch crosswinds! Furthermore, never even needed any maintenance or straightening up! What to me is the most genius and advantageous feature is the easily interchangable cassette bodies, so the wheels can swap to different bikes with different cassettes eg road to gravel with SRAM, Schumann and campag hub bodies easy than swapping a tyre! Crash replacement and 3yrs warranty gives me peace of mind and so far the customer service has been outstanding! Bravo Ffwd! Thank you!

Heel blij met deze prachtige wielen. Vergeleken met mijn Tyro-wielen is het echt een wereld van verschil.

Great wheelset
Even coming from a premium wheelset but with a narrower inner width (from 20 mm) of wheelset you immediately notice how much stable these are in any riding circumstances. Also maintaining speed in longer flat efforts is quite noticeable, even on descents I felt that in freewheeling (above speed of 50 km/h) I accelerate better (CeramicSpeed bearings, let’s not forget). These are my first wheels with carbon spokes and they are stiff as expected but without any negativity from it. I ran Victtoria’s tyres, 28 front, 30 rear (29,3-31,9 measured), so comfort is top notch. I specially like that feeling when I load bigger power on them, standing or sprinting, that they cope with it with ease. Sure, as any deeper wheelset you will feel some wind gusts as I experienced in last 4 months, but you feel resistance and not sudden kicks or major deflection of the front wheel. And yes, the look. They look amazing, in person even more. To summarize, I am very satisfied with the wheelset and I think there is not many wheelset, if at all, at this price point, with this overall specifications and characteristics (non Asian brands) that can compete with them. Also, the ability to test them for a 100 days is superb customer feature.

Inmiddels rij ik een jaar met de RAW 55 Ongelofelijk wat een top wielen en de ceramische lagers en matte kleur. FFWD bedankt dat ik op deze wielen mag rijden , elke keer een feest. Inmiddels 15 jaar klant .

Ik rij nu een 3/4 jaar met de FF Raw 55 wielen. De beste wielen die ooit heb gereden. Topwielen, stijf, redelijk laag gewicht, zien er mooi uit. Via mijn fiets-dealer Bicycle Kings gekocht, zeer content ermee.

Other reviews do the wheels full justice. Used to have Roval CLX and DT Swiss arc1100. The Raw 55 feel rigid, smooth and very agile. Quick to accellerate on slopes. The only dilemma you face, is riding vs looking at your bike, as you dont see the wheels while riding

Na paar maanden met deze wielen te hebben gereden kan ik nu wel zeggen dat ze heel goed zijn , was een beetje huiverig voor de Carbon spaken maar tot nu toen geen problemen , denk dat je er even aan moet wennen! Wielen blijven boven 30km mooi doorgaan ,groot verschil met mijn oude Zipp’s en springen snel aan , vrijloop wel wat harder dan Zipp wielen. Ook voordeel is dat ze hooked zijn, meer vertrouwen! met Continental 28 S TR hogere bandenspanning!

It’s my first time with FFWD wheels . I’m truly in love.They feel amazing and they’re extremely fast . Sound is amazing and of course the hubs with Ceramic speed bearings they’re on another level. Also they look amazing on my SWorks sl8.

Amazing wheels
Just experienced my first ride on my new RAW 55 wheels. The wheels ride so smooth and accelerate extremely quick. Not to speak about the “looks”. Most certainly the best wheels I ever had . The CeramicSpeed hubs make them not only sound great but also keep them rolling so quick. Can’t wait to step on my bike again.

Deze wielen zijn echt top! De carbon spaken zorgen ervoor dat de wielen echt stijf zijn en da voel je tijdens het accelereren of in bochten. de wielen zijn heel aangenaam om mee te rijden.

De perfecte allround wielset!
Recent heb ik de RAW 55 wielen aangeschaft wat een ervaring! Voorheen reed ik op DT swiss ARC wielen met 180 naaf maar dit loopt zo veel makkelijker dan de 62mm hoge wielen. Met de mooie lak laak en ceramic speed lagers en licht gewicht maakt dit wielset mijn 1e keuze in wedstrijden maar ook berg op. Gegarandeerd shinen met deze glimmende en goed klinkende wielen van FFWD !
De perfecte upgrade!
Ik rij nu al een tijdje op de FFWD RAW wielen nadat ik ze bij FFWD heb opgehaald, wat een brute wielset is dit zeg! De wielen zijn mega stijf, en gaan met gemak door iedere bocht. Samen met 28mm banden is dit een killer combi.
Absolute top wielen!
Mijn titel vat het perfect samen. Ben je opzoek naar een wielset van absolute top kwaliteit maar voor een scherpe prijs? Dan moet je absoluut voor deze wielen gaan! Voorzien van de nieuwste features; brede velgen, carbon spaken en CeramicSpeed naven. Een super licht en stijf wielset. Door de glossy of matt finish in elke fiets toepasbaar. Ik heb zelf voor de glossy afwerking gekozen in mijn Cervelo S5 en wat een boost heeft mijn fiets hierdoor gekregen zeg! De eerste koers is er al mee gewonnen, op naar nog meer….
RAW 55Geweldige wielen!
Heb de Zipp 454 Nsw vervangen door een set RAW 55, de RAW’s rollen mooier en strakker dan de Zipp’s, ook geen misselijke wielen. De beslissing om de RAW’s te kopen: goede ervaringen met een eerdere FFWD set, vind de wielen fantastisch qua looks, mooi mat, bestickering, vorm, alles klopt, complimenten voor de designer! Last but least ze rollen geweldig, zijn strak op het vlakke en in de bochten, naaf is kwalitatief top en zelf vind ik de carbon spaken ook heel apart. Samenvattend, ze staan super in de BMC slr01, geven de fiets iets extra’s, ik ben er zeer tevreden mee!

Rij nu ca 2 maanden met de nieuwe RAW55 had hiervoor ook FFWD, maar wat een geweldig wiel is dit. Iedere rit is een feestje heb ze in hoogglans gekocht en staan echt super mooi in mijn TIME Alp d’Huez 23 ..
