What to me is the most genius and advantageous feature is the easily interchangable cassette bodies, so the wheels can swap to different bikes with different cassettes eg road to gravel with SRAM, Schumann and campag hub bodies easy than swapping a tyre!

Ik heb afgelopen 40 jaar met allerlei merken wielen gereden oa Mavic,Zipp,Roval,DT-Swiss
Nu ben ik volledig overgestapt op FFWD heb 1st een setje hoge piste wielen aangeschaft super wielen.Van het voorjaar de Drift Control gravel daar heb ik de UCI Turnhout en One Fifty mee gereden ook geweldig. En 3 maanden geleden de FFWD Raw 55 voor en achter 77 deze wielen zijn ook echt geweldig.
FAST FORWARD Drift – Wedstrijdwaardige prestaties zonder compromissen
Als gravelwedstrijdrenner in de agegroup 55-59 heb ik de FAST FORWARD Drift wielset onder de meest uiteenlopende omstandigheden uitgebreid kunnen testen. Van zware beklimmingen en technische, rotsachtige afdalingen tijdens de Wereldbeker in Castellón (Spanje), tot de snelle gravelparcoursen van Turnhout (België), de gevarieerde omloop in Roden en de korte, steile beklimmingen met risicovolle afdalingen tijdens Marly Gravel.
In al deze wedstrijden hebben de FFWD Drift-wielen mij nooit in de steek gelaten. Ze zijn licht, stijf en uiterst betrouwbaar. De wielen sturen direct, geven veel vertrouwen in snelle bochten en blijven ook op ruwe ondergronden perfect controleerbaar. Dankzij de moderne velgbreedte sluiten bredere gravelbanden, zoals de Vittoria Terreno T30 Pro, perfect aan op de velg. What a lot of people also don’t know is that with a single set of wheels, cassette freehub bodies are interchangeable! So easy to slot on and off for SRAM, campagne and Shimano interchangeable compatibility!
Fantastische wielen. Bollen heel goed en voelen stijf maar sturen heel soepel. Rij er nu een half jaar mee. En de looks zijn perfect. Heb de gloss.
Als triatleet op weg naar Kona-kwalificatie ben ik dit seizoen overgestapt op de FFWD Falcon disc + Ryot 77 en het verschil is meteen merkbaar.
Tijdens een recente aerotest bleek de wielset een 19,4% lagere CdA te hebben ten opzichte van mijn Bontrager wielset. Dat vertaalt zich naar bijna 15 minuten tijdwinst over een volledige Ironman bikeleg.
Maar los van de data: de wielen zien er gewoon heel vet uit. En dat geluid van de Falcon disc is echt bizar. Dat alleen al maakt fietsen een stuk leuker 😎.
Zeer blij met deze set en ik zou hem zonder twijfel aanraden aan elke triatleet die serieus bezig is met zijn fietsprestaties. 🔥

Wheels look fantastic on the bike. Delivery was quick and although I had to pay Customs and Duty(UK VAT 20%) charges payable to UPS it was all sorted out later by FF using their extremely simple refund process.
First TT with the new wheels just done and they felt fast and smooth on our fairly bumpy roads.
Looking forward to the next one tomorrow night in what will be ideal conditions(warm and a light breeze).

Sound of them is something else
Solid and lightweight wheelset built up with the DT240 EXP / SRAM XDR. I purchased these wheels specifically for racing on my gravel bike and they do not disappoint. The wheels are responsive, engage rapidly, and accelerate as expected from a well-built set of performance wheels. This is my first purchase from FFWD and I am glad that I chose these wheels. I highly recommend them.
I’ve been using the RAW 44 wheelset for several months and I’m very happy with them. They roll fast, feel responsive, and are stable in all conditions.
The hub is exceptionally smooth and spins effortlessly, helping the wheels maintain speed very efficiently. The overall ride quality is excellent.
I’ve put a lot of kilometres on them, including some tough rides and races, and I haven’t had a single issue. They are also very good-looking wheels and really complement the bike.

As someone who regularly races gravel events, I demand a lot from my equipment, and these wheels have exceeded my expectations. They offer an excellent balance of stiffness, comfort, and efficiency, making them equally capable on fast gravel roads and technical sections.
I’ve put them through demanding race conditions, high-speed descents, rocky terrain, and long training blocks without a single issue. They accelerate quickly, maintain speed exceptionally well, and have proven to be remarkably durable. A reliable and confidence-inspiring wheelset that performs at a very high level.
Ik ben werkelijk super enthousiast over mijn nieuwe FFWD wielen. De RAW44 wielen geven me een snel, zeker en comfortabel gevoel in het aansnijden van bochten, in de acceleratie en snelle afdalingen. Bovendien zijn ze prachtig. De kwaliteit straalt er vanaf!
