With a very low weight of only 1520 grams and optimized aerodynamics, the RYOT 44 is the wheelset of choice wherever the wind blows. These full carbon wheels with a medium rim profile offer great comfort on whatever surface you ride on.

Rims based on LAW technology
The RYOT 44 rim is based on the LAW (Laminair Airflow Wing) technology. The wider LAW rim profile results in improved aerodynamics and also provides higher comfort, partly due to the use of wider tires. Thanks to the internal width of the rim, it is suitable for mounting tires up to 42mm, this makes the RYOT 44 a great wheelset for gravel and cyclocross.

The standard decals in shiny black or white naturally look good on any bike. But imagine your RYOT wheels with custom decals in colors that perfectly match your bike. How cool is that! Especially for the RYOT series, we have custom decals available in no less than 17 colors that you can easily apply yourself.

High-end hubs to choose from
Hubs are a critical part, perhaps the most critical part of high-end wheels. The RYOT 44 wheels allow you to choose our own branded FFWD hubs, which offer you very solid and reliable technology without compromising on quality and durability. Do you want to save extra weight in combination with higher precision and stiffness? Then the DT 240 hubs with the improved EXP ratchet system may be the best choice!
All are 12mm thru-axles compatible, but thanks to the conversion kits they can be converted to a 15mm thru-axle or quick-release mount in no time. Each type of hub in the RYOT wheels is center lock disc compatible only.

I spent a LOT of time researching wheels. I wanted 45-50 depth for aero, light, aero spokes, tubeless hooked rims and could take 30mm tyres for about £1500. I just couldn’t find anything. The 30mm tyres was the biggest issue. Some had dubious hub designs or noisy hubs etc. I then found a recommendation on YouTube for these and after a little deliberation ordered them with the new Dt Swiss 240 hubs and black decals. I put on 30mm conti gps. Mine weighed in at 1500g with valves/tape. I couldn’t be happier. They look great, super smooth to ride and definitely faster than my hologram wheels that came with my bike. The build quality is excellent with brass nipples and have stayed spot on after several months riding. They even came with a cracking padded wheel bag.
There may be lighter wheels, there may be more aero wheels but I honestly don’t think you will find a better all round wheel for the money. Superb, highly recommend.
I am yet to get deep in to it but few rides is a definite testimony of FFWD quality.FFWD promise is completely in the wheels.

These are my first set of Carbon Rims on my Trek Emonda 2024 set up tubeless with GP 5000 STR Tyres. They look and sound amazing and are plenty fast enough for me !! feel very stiff and they seem to roll forever !

After reviewing all the options over and over, including those on offer by Chinese company's I kept coming back to FFWD, And contacted them several times before purchase each time the team were always super helpful.
The RYOT 44 is (I think) a great depth and FFWD is the only company I found that ships with Brass Spoke Nipples and as I wanted to avoid any possibility of galvanic corrosion this was a major for me.
The Crash replacement policy and 3 year warranty is superb with someone you can actually call for support unlike some Chinese brand which may or may not be there tomorrow.
I got what i think was a very good deal from my UK supplier (for only a small amount more than something sent over from China). I'm so happy with the purchase and performance so far; Yes there are lighter wheels out there if that's your thing, (Though it seemed to me this was often only a marginal difference when compared on a price point). However here in the UK our roads could often be in a much much better state. So something that can stand up to a little abuse and the surface conditions of them is needed; again step in FFWD.
My thoughts, HIGHLY RECOMENDED.
