Fast dispatch. Helpful staff. Using with GP5000 28mm clinchers and latex tubes which mounted without any dramas. Good aero profile tyre/rim combo. PSI at 66/64 for 75kg total weight. They spin up to speed quickly with good power transfer. Hubs are quiet and quick engagement. Straight line speed has increased and they handle crosswinds surprisingly well. They climb pretty well too but I would probably use my Alpinist 33mm for any super steep stuff. Overall build quality is impressive and at a fair price too. Recommended.

So far, so great! Arrived to Ireland within a week. Very quick and straightforward set-up. Nice wheel bag too. Have only had a few spins on them so far but they feel great on the flats and short hills.

Super wielen

The RYOT 44/55 is a great compromise between aerodynamics, weight and handling.

The 44 mm front wheel keeps the bike very easy to steer and stable, while the deeper 55 mm rear adds that extra bit of aero performance. For me, it’s a really well-balanced combination that works just as well on fast flat roads as it does on climbs and technical descents.

The matte finish looks absolutely amazing on the bike and gives the wheels a really premium look.

I’m running them tubeless with Pirelli P Zero Race TLR tyres and had no issues mounting the tyres at all. Once set up, they hold pressure incredibly well — I’ve barely noticed any pressure loss even after several days.

And then there’s the DT Swiss 240 hub. It spins incredibly smoothly and that unmistakable freehub sound is just addictive.

Overall, the RYOT 44/55 is a wheelset that combines aero performance, excellent handling, reliability and great looks without going to an extreme in any direction. Exactly what I was looking for.

Sinds korte tijd (24-07-2026) de blije eigenaar van een set FFWD Drift Pace gravel wielen.

De aanloop verliep vanuit de retailer even stroef, daar de verkeerde set was besteld, maar de wijze waarop deze samen met FFWD heeft geregeld dat mijn fiets toch mee kon op vakantie, daarover niets dan lof!

Tijdens mijn ritjes in Zweden de wielen uitvoerig kunnen testen en ervaren. Het verschil met de standaard wielen die geleverd waren, is groot en het plezier op de fiets is alleen maar toegenomen.

I’ve been so impressed with the FFWD RAW wheels on the road that my expectations for the RAW GRAVEL PACE were seriously high. The addition of carbon spokes and ceramic bearings made these a must-try for me.

From the first ride, you feel what these wheels are about: incredibly stiff, seriously fast and extremely responsive. Every pedal stroke translates directly into speed, while the connection between bike and surface on gravel is phenomenal. Precise, controlled and fast.

On really rough, MTB-style terrain, that stiffness demands a little more from the rider, but on gravel these wheels absolutely come alive.
