Let's meet Henk

As the founder and owner of FFWD, Henk's goal is to offer customers a complete range of high-quality carbon wheels. His responsibility extends across all facets of the business, constantly working to ensure quality and expand brand awareness of the FFWD brand.

Henk's working day consists of leveraging his network to keep the brand at the forefront. Together with his team, he keeps a close eye on costs and benefits, sharing his expertise in product development. His vision and strategic insights help FFWD maintain and grow a strong position in the market.

His personal goal is clear: to further strengthen the FFWD brand and ensure that the company remains an enjoyable working environment for the entire team.

At home, Henk has an impressive collection of some 15 bikes, including an S-Works Venge road bike, an American Eagle Atlanta 2.0 mountain bike and a Cervelo Aspero gravel bike. A number of classic models he is attached to also complete the collection.

With a background in cycling, where he rode races from the age of 8 and was later involved in the creation of Team Roompot, Henk is deeply rooted in the cycling world. His favourite race is the Tour of Flanders, and the cyclists most appealing to him are classics specialists such as Mathieu van der Poel and Peter Sagan.

In his spare time, you will find Henk not only on his bike, but also on his motorbike, on natural ice with ice skates, or playing his guitar. His love for cycling loves to take him to Girona in Spain, but he dreams of riding in South America one day. Henk's diverse interests and passion for sport and travel make him a dynamic and inspiring leader within Team FFWD.
