Custom hubs with CeramicSpeed inside
Carbon spokes ask for a special hub design. These level of wheels ask for ceramic bearings. For our custom designed hubs we partnered with CeramicSpeed.
CeramicSpeed bearings elevate the performance of the wheels in terms of weight, durability and minimum rolling resistance. As usual this FFWD hub always have an internal ratchet system which enrich the level of performance.
Our new RAW becomes a true family
Being the allrounder the RAW 44 is just in the middle between the lower RAW 33 and bigger brother RAW 55. This makes the RAW 44 the perfect option for versatile usage.
Completely new in this top notch family is the option to choose your finish. Within the minimalistic design you can choose an classic matt or exclusive and realy stylish glossy finish. Depending on the best combination with your bike or personal preference you can make yourself really stand out!

I’ve been using the RAW 44 wheelset for several months and I’m very happy with them. They roll fast, feel responsive, and are stable in all conditions. The hub is exceptionally smooth and spins effortlessly, helping the wheels maintain speed very efficiently. The overall ride quality is excellent. I’ve put a lot of kilometres on them, including some tough rides and races, and I haven’t had a single issue. They are also very good-looking wheels and really complement the bike. Highly recommended.

Ik ben werkelijk super enthousiast over mijn nieuwe FFWD wielen. De RAW44 wielen geven me een snel, zeker en comfortabel gevoel in het aansnijden van bochten, in de acceleratie en snelle afdalingen. Bovendien zijn ze prachtig. De kwaliteit straalt er vanaf!
RAW 44He probado muchas ruedas, pero nunca había bajado tan rapido y con tanta confianza como con las RAW 44. Quizás no son las mas ligeras, pero es una cuestion de sensaciones, de conexion. Y además, esteticamente, en acabado brillo y en vivo, son brutales.

My FFWD Raw 44 wheels are outstanding. The craftsmanship is excellent, with a premium finish and attention to detail. On the road, they strike a great balance of aerodynamics, stiffness, and handling. They accelerate well, hold speed efficiently, and stay composed in crosswinds. The ride quality is impressive, and the overall performance is unbelievable for the money.

I bought this wheel set to use on my new Colnago Y1Rs and they are a perfect match. I was afraid that they would be less comfortable due to the carbon spooks but as I use them in a tubeless tyre setting, I ride with lower pressure and they are very responsive and not uncomfortable. Due to the ceramic hubs the roll very smooth and side wind doesn't effect them much due to the size. Very happy with my choice and my third FFWD wheel set that I bought. I would advice them to anybody that is looking for a set in that price range.

Bought as an upgrade to Hollowgram HG35. They do not disappoint, Compliant and yet stiff. They climb well as not too heavy, and once up to speed the increased aero design is noticable.

Great Compliance and Performance
I am very enthusiastic. For me, stiffness, comfort and low crosswind sensitivity were the decisive factors for the purchase. Above all, the combination of stiffness and compliance is sensationally good. You have a very stable ride at all times, even when the surface gets rougher. Another special feature are the very smooth-running hubs. The price-performance ratio is also favourable in my opinion. I ride the wheels on a Colnago C68 often in mountainous regions. Thanks FFWD for this excellent product !
RAW 44Worth Every Penny
I treated myself to the RAW 44. Sure, it’s not the cheapest set of wheels, but after reading reviews, getting recommendations – especially from cycling guru Cepo – I decided to go for it. The difference was obvious from the very first meters. That instant feeling of joy – and yes, it really warmed my heart – is still going strong. Comfort, stiffness, craftsmanship… I’m simply beyond satisfied.

Met deze wielen wil je vooruit! Het is een echte aanrader voor een super strak rijgedrag. Heb zelf nog nooit met ceramische lagers gereden maar dit is een bijzondere ervaring.
RAW 44Perfecte alrounder
"Ik heb de knoop doorgehakt en besloten te investeren in een set carbon topwielen. Na langdurig marktonderzoek heb ik besloten voor de RAW van FFWD te kiezen. Waarom? Vanwege de specificaties, looks en reviews. Deze wielen meten zich qua specificaties met andere merken uit het topsegment. Laatst duwtje in de rug was dat ze in Nederland worden gemaakt. Levering en ontvangst allemaal top, mooie tas voor de wielen. En toen de praktijk. Van aluminium (top)wielen met binnenband naar carbon met tubeless. Het verschil was enorm. Alsof je met veel minder weerstand fietst. Stuurgedrag werkelijk formidabel en bij hard aanzetten en sprinten is elke trap raak. Wat een genot, dit had ik eerder moeten doen. Met 44 mm iets meer last van de wind van opzij, maar absoluut geen kamikaze als het hard waait. Maar dit was op het vlakke in Nederland. Deze zomer heb ik getraind om deel te nemen aan de GFNY Vaujany in de Franse Alpen. Eerlijk is eerlijk, deze wielen gaan prima bergop. Er zijn lichtere klimwielen op de markt, maar voor de rijeigenschappen zou ik deze links laten liggen. 44 mm is prima om mee te klimmen en ook om mee te dalen zelfs bij 80 kmh. Al met al durf ik na driekwart jaar te stellen dat ik deze wielen onder diverse eigenschappen stevig aan de tand heb gevoeld, zelf op kasseien, en nergens een probleem. Ik kan iedereen die een topset carbon wielen zoekt voor allround gebruik de RAW absoluut aanraden."

Deze RAW44 wielset vervangt de Ryot55 waar ik jaren ook super tevreden over was. De RAW44 blinkt uit in snel bochtenwerk en laat zich heel makkelijk sturen en corrigeren. Sprintje bergop gaat net dat beetje makkelijker en ze snijden door de wind als een mes. Acceleratie is top. Mocht je dit allemaal niet belangrijk vinden dan koop je ze gewoon voor "the looks" en voor de topservice van FFWD :-)

RAW 44So happy with the new FFWD RAW wheels
They have proven to be perfect on the road and now they have proven to be great in the mountains too. Usually I have problems to keep my balance on windy descents, but descending is much more fun now with the FFWD RAW. They are stable, aero, looking awesome and the sound of the ceramic hub is something else.

ceramic speed bearings make the roll super smooth, with the carbon spokes they are stiff as I like, 44 dept is perfect for climbing and flat roads. They are really light : perfect for climbing. During intervals / efforts, they react really fast.
