Allround performance rim brake wheels
For those who remain faithful to rim brakes, the F6R FCC is the perfect set of wheels for every day performance rides. Besides these full carbon clincher wheels are as light as a feather, the aerodynamic rim profile also ensures they cut through the wind like a knife.
Modern tubeless ready full carbon DARC rims
The 60mm high carbon rims of the F6R FCC are designed based on the DARC technology. DARC stands for “Double Arc” which refers to the unique wavy rim profile which results in improved aerodynamics. The internal width of the rim is optimized for mounting tyres up to 37mm. By default, the F6R FCC rims are tubeless ready and the wheels are always supplied with tubeless tape mounted and tubeless valves in the box.
Full carbon wheels for rim brakes
Anyone who thinks bicycles with rim brakes are past away, and production of wheels made for bicycles with rim brakes stoped is wrong! Althought the advance of disc brake bicycles, there is still a higher number of bicycles ridden with rim brakes. Reason enough for FFWD to stay the modern F6R FCC wheels for bicycles with rim brakes available in the collection.

What riders say about F6R FCC
Super stiff, great ride quality but delaminated after ~15k kms
Even with my issue I would buy FFWD wheels again. Loved my wheels on DT350 hubs, they were super stiff, ride comfort was excellent and rolled very well at speed. Only noticed the weight of them when above 10% gradients. Braking is very poor in the wet (only got caught in the rain a couple of times with them). Disappointed that after only ~15k kms of riding in the UK the front brake track delaminated, we have tiny hills, no long, prolonged alpine descents.
Topklasse wielen
Topklasse wielen, bollen goed en de looks zijn ook super. Inmiddels 250 km gereden door de Ardennen en hebben zich bewezen. Remmen (in droge omstandigheden) ook prima.

Great performance, sensations and excellent braking

My old training wheels were up for replacement after 15 years. I decided to keep my current TT-bike and go for rim brakes once again. My race set-up already was FFWD, but the F6R FCC comes very close and calling them "training wheels" would sell them short. Flawless rides, close to perfection. I will definitely use them in triathlons under more challenging circumstances as well.

After 18 months and nearly 15000 km I can say these are excellent wheels for fast rides, even with the so-called entry level 350DT hub. They are really aerodynamic. The rims still look like new. Descending with 3 beaufort side wind is a challenge. Breaking performance in wet conditions is not great, even with the dedicated DT Swiss brake pads. But I would definitely buy them again.

After 2 months of testing I must say GREAT choice! I was worried about braking because sometimes people say: "rim brakes and carbon? No chance it will not be good from the descent" but my experience is different. The 60mm rims look beautiful and overall feeling is pretty cool.
